Marcus Smart could be cleared to play next week
Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart is moving toward a return, and it could come as soon as next week.
Celtics coach Brad Stevens said Saturday that Smart will be re-evaluated next week, and could return to game action immediately if he is cleared at that time.
Brad Stevens said Marcus Smart is going to see a doctor again next week. If he's cleared to play, he should be ready for game action.

Smart had been aiming to return for a potential Game 7. If the Celtics have to play in that game, it would be on April 28, and by the sound of it, there is a legitimate chance he could get there if the game proves necessary. The second round seems likely at minimum.
