Markieff Morris plans to ask Al Horford if he intentionally undercut him in Game 1

Markieff Morris wants some answers about the ankle injury he suffered in Game 1 against the Boston Celtics on Sunday.

The Washington Wizards power forward said that he plans to ask Celtics big man Al Horford if he intentionally undercut him in the opening game of their second-round postseason series.

“I’m not sure,” said Morris when asked if he thought Horford stuck his foot underneath him on purpose, per J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic. “I’m going to ask him, though. I looked at it a couple times. It’s not really that pretty, so I couldn’t really watch it too much.”

Morris was hurt in the second quarter of the Wizards’ 123-111 loss to the Celtics (video here). He was forced to exit the game and did not return, finishing with just five points and three rebounds in 11 minutes. While Morris is listed as a game-time decision for Tuesday’s Game 2, it could be an injury that bothers him for a while and may result in him feuding with an opposing big for a second consecutive series.
