Markieff Morris detained at airport on suspicion of marijuana possession
It looks like the drama with Markieff Morris didn’t quite end with his trade out of Phoenix.
According to a report by John Gonzalez of CSNPhilly.com on Thursday, the Wizards forward was detained at Philadelphia International Airport on suspicion of possessing marijuana in his bag.

Morris, 27, averaged 12.0 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game in the 2015-16 campaign. But his season was largely overshadowed by a very messy and public breakup with the Phoenix Suns, who dealt him to Washington at the trade deadline.
The Wizards were said to have gathered more than their fair share of intel on Morris before acquiring him. But continued character blemishes like this one will do no favors towards validating their already questionable decision to add Morris, who is under contract through 2019, to their team.
