Metta World Peace is tired of PC culture, welcomes racist jokes

Metta World Peace Lakers

Metta World Peace is no stranger to controversial statements, recently finding himself at the center of attention after claiming a ghost had touched him inappropriately while he was staying at the Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma.

Early on Friday morning, the Los Angeles Lakers forward was at it again, this time lashing out against social justice warriors and PC culture.

World Peace continued by saying “we need this sensitivity to stop so we can get back to comedy.” He even claimed that if he were President, he would give everyone a pass on ethnic jokes as opposed to firing them.

“If I were President, I would allow everyone in the world two racist jokes per ethnicity per year. No losing jobs,” he tweeted. “This really wise man said we are not the same. And that is what makes us so special as people. We are so different, and that’s so cool.

“Be different. Feel good about who you are. Love other people. And make tons of jokes. We need more comedy.”

World Peace did have a red line however, saying there are certain historical events that should be considered a no-go. And they were exactly what you might expect.

“I think the only jokes that are bad are like slave jokes and holocaust jokes. Some people be serious and not joking,” World Peace concluded. “But we need more laughs.”

For World Peace, it’s certainly a daring stance to take given the culture in 2016, but when has that ever stopped him before?
