Michael Carter-Williams, Tyler Ennis, Miles Plumlee traded to Bucks

Michael-Carter-WilliamsThe Milwaukee Bucks are loading up as they prepare to make a playoff push.

The Bucks worked a multi-team, multi-player deal before Thursday’s deadline that netted them Michael Carter-Williams from the Philadelphia 76ers as well as Miles Plumlee and D-Leaguer Tyler Ennis from Phoenix, David Aldridge reports.

The Bucks are trading Brandon Knight to Phoenix as part of the deal, which is somewhat surprising given the successful season Knight has enjoyed. Knight is averaging 17.8 points per game and shooting 40.9 percent on threes.

The Suns need the extra point guard for two reasons. One, they are trading Goran Dragic to Miami. Two, they reportedly sent Isaiah Thomas to Boston for draft picks.

Carter-Williams, who is in his second season and won Rookie of the Year, is the centerpiece for Milwaukee. He is averaging 15 points, 6.2 rebounds and 7.4 assists this season. He has missed the last few games with a toe injury.
