Report: NBA GMs not hesitant to draft Lonzo Ball due to father LaVar
LaVar Ball is reportedly not causing problems for son Lonzo’s draft stock.
According to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman, no NBA general manager he’s spoken with would hesitate to draft Lonzo on account of his controversial father LaVar.

Lonzo Ball is such a huge talent that teams are generally going to put up with whatever baggage LaVar brings along with the package. The NBA is full of professionals who won’t be put off by someone’s mouthy father.
There are, of course, other ways in which Lonzo could be negatively impacted by his father’s outspokenness. Draft stock just doesn’t appear to be one of them.
