Report: Majority of NBA owners favor ads on jerseys
If NBA owners have their way, advertisements could be coming to NBA jerseys.
Most owners reportedly favor the placement of small ads on team jerseys, and a vote could be coming in the future.

The All-Star Game already featured small Kia patches on both teams’ uniforms, and they can be seen above. They weren’t very intrusive, they’re nothing like European soccer or Euroleague basketball, and they are another source of revenue. Teams like the Lakers, who have huge revenue sources, can get away with opposing this sort of thing, but they’re likely going to be caught up in the tide soon enough.
