Nets trying to trade Jarrett Jack before waiving him
The Brooklyn Nets are trying to trade Jarrett Jack before his buyout date comes up on Thursday. If they are unable to deal him, they are likely to waive him, according to a report.
The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports the news about Jack, who is recovering from a torn ACL suffered in January. The Nets apaprently have some concerns about paying the $6.3 million for Jack next season with him returning from injury.

Jack tore ACL in January, and league sources say that rehab has been on strong pace and he's expected to be ready for training camp in fall.

Jack averaged 12.8 points, 7.4 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game in the 32 contests he played last season with Brooklyn. Turning 33 in October, Jack would likely receive interest from multiple teams.
