Nikola Mirotic seems to poke fun at trade rumors
Nikola Mirotic took to social media on Thursday and seemed to poke fun at recent trade rumors that have included him.
Ever since Mirotic got into an altercation with teammate Bobby Portis, it seemed a forgone conclusion both would not finish this season with the Bulls. As the trade deadline approaches, it appears Mirotic will be the one on the way out.
Mirotic reportedly wants out of Chicago, and among the teams said to be interested are the Pistons, Blazers, and Jazz. With a new rumor surfacing seemingly every day, and an article suggesting he has a thing for Utah, Mirotic appears to be taking it in stride.
He sent this tweet, complete with laughing emojis.
I'm in love with the Chicago media

Mirotic has a no-trade clause in his contract, but has indicated he is willing to waive it. He also can’t be traded until January 15 after signing a two-year contract prior to the start of this season. Those two things aside, it’s likely more a matter of when, not if, the Bulls finding a willing trade partner and a deal is completed.
