Pandora offers LeBron James premium subscription after funny comments
Pandora saw an opportunity for some great publicity, and they took their shot.
LeBron James did a joint interview with Dwyane Wade on ESPN recently and the two talked about how cheap James is. The Cleveland Cavaliers star says he doesn’t buy apps, doesn’t incur roaming/data charges internationally, and he still has Pandora with commercials.

Pandora is a music streaming service that plays songs and runs ads every few songs. They also offer a premium ads-free version for $4.99 a month, which is too much for the athlete who is making over $33 million this season.
Anyhow, Pandora got involved and offered James a premium account.
Hey @KingJames how about we hook you up with a Premium account so you can ditch the commercials?

James happily accepted.

What do you get the athlete who has everything? A premium Pandora subscription, apparently.
