Phil Jackson sends cryptic tweet about Carmelo Anthony trade
Former New York Knicks president Phil Jackson weighed in on the Carmelo Anthony trade — sort of.
Jackson kicked off an appeal for money for hurricane relief in Puerto Rico with a quick aside on the deal that sends Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder, and it basically amounted to “best wishes” — while also seemingly missing the word “not.”
No, I'm here to comment on the OKC/NY trade, btw I hope it works out well for both parties, which is how trades should work. I'm here for PR

It would be fair to say that Jackson and Anthony had a frosty relationship when both were in New York, and Jackson more or less tried to push Anthony out of town. Ultimately, Phil didn’t last long enough to see it through, but it’s fair to say his comments did little to help Anthony’s trade value even now.
