Raptors players support Blue Jays by doing bat flips (Video)

During Game 5 of the ALDS between the Blue Jays and Rangers, Jose Bautista uncorked one of the greatest bat flips anyone has ever seen after launching a three-run home run to give Toronto a 6-3 lead in the seventh inning.

Sam Dyson, who gave up the home run, didn’t think it was so awesome. This fan apparently did, because he got a tattoo to remember the moment.

Prior to Game 6 of the ALCS between the Blue Jays and Royals, Toronto’s NBA team posted a video to support their Major League Baseball counterpart, which hilariously showed members of the Raptors doing bat flips. Each player added their own twist and the result is fantastic.

Can you imagine if someone mimicked DeMar DeRozan? A brawl of epic proportions would immediately follow. The attitude that followed Terrence Ross’ toss is just great. DeMarre Carroll got pretty good height with his flip and Cory Joseph went with the no-look variety.

A fun 24 seconds, indeed. Well done Raptors.
