Report: JR Smith agrees to four-year $57 million deal with Cavaliers
After spending time with the Hornets, Nuggets, and Knicks, J.R. Smith has found a home with the Cavaliers.
Smith was traded to Cleveland from New York last year has since become an important part of a championship winning team. As ESPN’s Marc Stein reports, Smith isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

LeBron James has been vocal with his belief the Cavaliers needed to re-sign Smith and the expectation all along, despite a stalemate, was the 31-year-old would be back with the team before the season opener. With that now taken care of, Cleveland will return all five members of its most used starting lineup from last season.
Smith Smith averaged 14.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game a season ago. He also made a career-high 204 three-pointers.
