Sixers-Timberwolves game restarted because teams were going in wrong directions (Video)

The Philadelphia 76ers picked up their first win of the season on Wednesday via an 85-77 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Perhaps fitting, the game that would snap Philadelphia’s 17-game losing streak got off to quite the interesting start.

sixers-timberwolves-game-restartShortly after the game got underway, Henry Sims drew a foul to earn two free throws, which in itself doesn’t seem particularly noteworthy. After he stepped to the line, the officials gathered and came to the conclusion the teams weren’t going in the right directions on the floor. So, the players were brought back to center court for another jump ball to start the game, again.

Just when you thought you’ve seen it all, the Sixers and Timberwolves are there to provide us with a moment that will surely go down as one of (if not the) strangest moments of this NBA season.
