Steph Curry likely will be on minutes restriction during return on Saturday
Steph Curry is likely to make his return for on Saturday from a sprained ankle, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said on Friday. And when he does return, Curry will probably be on a minutes restriction,
Speaking prior to Friday’s Warriors-Hornets game, Kerr shared that Curry is likely to return Saturday on a minutes restriction.
Kerr said Curry "most likely" will play tomorrow. Kerr added that he'll "probably" have a minutes limit.

Curry has been out since spraining his ankle on Dec. 4 against the Pelicans. Friday will mark his 11th straight missed game.
The Warriors have only lost one game during Curry’s absence, so they’ve fared quite well. In fact, Kerr said the two-time MVP’s absence has been good for the team.
Kerr: "In a weird way, this stretch (without Curry) has been good for us." Said it has allowed the young guys and role players to shoulder heavier loads.

Even though being forced to play without Curry has helped strengthen the team all around, the Warriors much prefer to have Curry available. After his return on Saturday, he’ll have plenty of time to rest before the team’s next game four days later on Wednesday.
