Stephen Curry ‘doubtful’ to play in Game 4
The Golden State Warriors looked like they were in need of a boost as they were losing Game 3 against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday. Unfortunately, that boost is not likely to come in the form of the reining NBA MVP for Game 4.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said Sunday that Curry is “doubtful” for Monday’s game.

That update is in line with what Kerr said earlier in the week about Curry’s status, noting that the star point guard has still yet to practice with the team.
Curry suffered a sprained MCL (video here) during Golden State’s opening-round series against the Houston Rockets. There was no reason to rush him back while the team has been rolling, but the Blazers could make things very interesting by winning another home game on Monday and evening the series at 2-2. You have to wonder how far the defending champs can go without their best player in the lineup.
