Stephen Curry will miss road trip, be re-evaluated in ten days

Stephen Curry

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry will miss several more games with his groin injury.

The team announced Wednesday that Curry will miss the team’s upcoming road trip and will be re-evaluated in another ten days before a return to the court is even considered.

This probably means at least another six games on the sideline for Curry, as Golden State has a busy stretch of games coming up. The three-game road trip is definitely a no-go, and a stretch of three games in four days after that looks unlikely as well.

The good news for Golden State is that Curry will travel with the team on the road trip, even if he can’t play.

Given the internal turmoil the Warriors are experiencing right now, Curry’s presence will not be a minor thing. Even if he can’t play, just showing up may help the Warriors smooth out some of their issues.
