Stephen Curry MRI comes back clean, still questionable for game three

The Golden State Warriors released a statement on Tuesday clarifying Stephen Curry’s status going forward.

Curry missed game two of the team’s series against Houston, which the Warriors won anyway, but there is no clear timetable for his return. Amidst reports of another MRI, however, the Warriors issued a statement confirming that everything came back clean.

The Warriors remain vague on what, exactly, is bothering Curry. Coach Steve Kerr even insinuated that his foot may be an issue.

“I don’t know. Honestly,” Kerr told reporters, via John Chick of theScore. “It’s both. I mean, I’m not sure I know the difference. It’s the back of his foot, it’s the ankle, it’s something down there.”

Curry remains questionable for Thursday’s game three. The Warriors remain tight-lipped, and we know little more now than we did when the injury happened in game one. We are clearly in wait-and-see mode for the foreseeable future.
