Steve Kerr: Kevin Durant ‘at least a couple weeks away’
Kevin Durant continues to progress on a daily basis as he recovers from a knee injury, but he’s still “at least a couple weeks away” according to Steve Kerr.
The Golden State Warriors head coach addressed the media on Saturday and talked about Durant. He was asked about how he would integrate Durant back into the lineup, but it seemed like that’s getting a little ahead of things.

“When we get to that point we’ll figure it out. It’s not something I’m giving a lot of thought to right now because he’s still at least a couple weeks away,” Kerr said via the San Jose Mercury News’ Anthony Slater.
Durant’s been increasing his range of activity almost on a daily basis. On Friday, here’s what his routine looked like.
KD today: Wind sprints, crab dribbling, pull-up 3s, off-the-dribble 3. Shots falling at a high rate.

Poole guesses that Durant might return for the final few games of the regular season on a minutes restriction. The Warriors still have the best overall record in the league and entered Saturday 2.5 games ahead of San Antonio in the Western Conference.
