Steve Kerr: Report that Steph Curry will miss 3 weeks is inaccurate

Stephen Curry

Steve Kerr is disputing a report shared by TNT announcer Kevin Harlan saying that Steph Curry will miss three weeks.

During Game 2 of the Golden State Warriors’ playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, Harlan stated that Kerr told them that Curry would miss another three weeks.

However, Kerr disputed that on Wednesday, chalking Harlan’s report up to a “miscommunication.”

“It was probably a miscommunication when we met before the game,” Kerr said, via the San Jose Mercury News. “We don’t have any timetable for this. I’m not exactly sure what that was about.”

Kerr had already ruled Curry out for the first round series due to his MCL sprain, but Harlan’s information seemed like that absence would be extended.

The question is whether there truly was a miscommunication and the information was incorrect, or whether the information was shared off the record by Kerr.
