Report: Steve Kerr ‘very unlikely’ to return during Jazz series
Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr remains far from a return to the sideline.
According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, Kerr is seeking specialist treatment at Duke University, and sources characterize him as “very unlikely” to return during the current series against the Utah Jazz.
Kerr had previously sought treatment at Stanford for the ongoing symptoms from back surgery, including headaches, nausea, and dizziness. Mike Brown will continue to coach the team in his absence.
The chance remains that Kerr won’t even return before the end of the playoffs, and the team is preparing as if that will be the case. Unfortunately, it does not sound like he’s made significant progress in his recovery.
