Tracy McGrady set to join ESPN as NBA analyst

Lest Kobe Bryant take all the headlines from their generation, Tracy McGrady is out here making moves too.

According to a report by Yahoo! Sports via the Associated Press on Monday, McGrady is set to join ESPN as an analyst for its new daily NBA show entitled “The Jump.” Hosted by Rachel Nichols, the afternoon broadcast will debut on Thursday. It is also said that McGrady will be contributing analysis to other network programming, including “SportsCenter.”

McGrady is a 12-time All-Star and a two-time scoring champion that played for seven teams in 13 NBA seasons. He holds career averages of 19.6 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, and 4.4 assists per game.

Now 36 years old, McGrady has already partaken in some mesmerizing post-playing career ventures. Let’s just hope that he exhibits some better trouser sense in this latest television excursion.

And if T-Mac can do a “13 Observations in 35 Seconds” segment on this new show, life will officially be complete.
