Twitter jokes about Marcus Smart’s flop in Game 7
Marcus Smart got away with a flop during the second quarter of Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Sunday and was ridiculed for it.
The Boston Celtics defender was guarding LeBron James with just under 40 seconds remaining in the first half of Game 7. LeBron tried to drive on him and made a little contact with Smart, who flopped as if he had been nailed in the face.
His sell job was so convincing that LeBron was called for a charge. However, ESPN analyst Mark Jackson knew right away that it was a flop by Smart. So did many analysts on Twitter, including even Baker Mayfield. Take a look.

You can’t blame Smart for taking advantage of the opportunity.
