Now that Doc Rivers is no longer running the Los Angeles Clippers’ front office in addition to coaching the team, the franchise finally traded away his son. The reactions to the news of the trade were as funny as you’d expect.
Austin Rivers on Tuesday was traded to the Washington Wizards for Marcin Gortat after spending four seasons playing for his father, Doc. Doc had traded for Austin and then signed him to a contract extension when he was running the front office. But with Jerry West now involved, the team finally traded Austin.

The Clippers finally trading Austin was a long time coming. There were accusations of nepotism going on with the team, with a report even saying Chris Paul was upset over the relationship. The Clippers will no longer have to worry about those issues.
