The launch party for an Al Harrington cannabis products brands was a star-studded affair.

Harrington, a former 16-year NBA player, launched the third of his cannabis-related brands during a star-studded affair in Beverly Hills on Friday night.

According to Weed News, Cleveland Cavaliers coach Ty Lue and Toronto Raptors all-star Kyle Lowry were among the people in attendance. Lue and Harrington were teammates on the Atlanta Hawks. Current Rockets forward Trevor Ariza, as well as former NBA players Stephen Jackson, Charles Oakley and Kenyon Martin reportedly were also there.

Harrington already has two cannabis-related brands. The new one is called Harrington Wellness, and it creates wellness products based on hemp.

Harrington is an advocate for cannabis products as pain relievers. He has said he thinks he would have been able to continue playing longer if he were able to use some of the products his company creates.

“After more surgeries than I care to admit, my knee was shot, and I was in pain all the time,” said Harrington in a press release. “If I had the benefit of CBDs, like our Harrington Wellness Cream when I was playing, there’s no doubt I could have played two or three more seasons in the NBA.”
