Tyronn Lue pokes fun at Isaiah Thomas’ ‘panic mode’ dig
Tyronn Lue is not exactly sweating Isaiah Thomas’ most recent dig very much.
Addressing reporters on Tuesday, the Cleveland Cavaliers coach reacted to Thomas saying earlier this week that the team was in “panic mode” when they traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers at the deadline. In response, Lue took on a light-hearted, almost mocking tone as he brushed off Thomas’ remarks.
#Cavs Ty Lue when asked about Isaiah Thomas' comments about the team being in panic mode prior to the deadline: "I'm panicking now (chuckle)."

Again, Ty Lue before the presser concluded: "I'm panicking!" #Cavs

Lue is definitely coming from a position of strength — the Cavs have gone 5-2 since their big trade deadline shakeup and seem poised again for at least a top-three seed in the East. Meanwhile for Thomas, well … let’s just say that things are not going quite as well for him at the moment.
