Utah Jazz to hire Quin Snyder as new head coach
The Utah Jazz are finalizing an agreement to make Quin Snyder their new head coach.
Both Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski and Sportando report that the two sides are finalizing the deal. Sportando says it’s a 3-year deal.
The Jazz went 25-57 this season, which was former coach Tyrone Corbin’s fourth season leading the team. They decided not to bring him back after the year.
Snyder played at Duke during the ’80s and was an assistant under Coach K. He also was an assistant under Larry Brown with the Clippers. His longest stint as a head coach came when he led Missouri from 1999-2006. Snyder was most recently an assistant coach with the Atlanta Hawks.
