Warriors rule Andre Iguodala out for Game 1 of NBA Finals
Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala will miss his fifth straight game with a bone bruise in his knee to open the NBA Finals.
The Warriors confirmed Wednesday that Iguodala would miss Wednesday’s Game 1 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. While the player is “making progress,” he is still in pain and his left knee remains inflamed, meaning he’ll be evaluated again prior to Game 2.

Last we heard, Iguodala was still trying to figure out what, precisely, was causing his injury. While he appears to be getting better, progress has been slow, and it doesn’t appear that anyone has any real idea of when Iguodala will be able to take the court again.
