The wait is finally over. America can now rest. The savior has arrived. Yi Jianlin has officially signed with the Bucks! Sure, all it took was a little bit of stalking on Milwaukee’s behalf, but hey, the I’s have been dotted, and T’s crossed. Oh yeah, and perhaps the most important detail, we finally get confirmation on homeboy’s name:

The Milwaukee Bucks announced today that 2007 first round draft pick Yi Jianlian (EE jee-AHN-lee-AHN) has signed a multi-year contract.

Let me just ask this, are chicks really expected to yell out EE jee-AHN-lee-AHN in bed? You expect kids to memorize that for autograph requests? I’m not sure that’s going to work out so well. Now, get this guy in a Mac laptop commercial, and then we’re talking. Kevin Hunt, your response?
