Zach Collins shares funny story about meeting with Blazers at combine
The Portland Trail Blazers apparently left quite the first impression on former Gonzaga big man Zach Collins.
On Saturday, Collins shared the story of how the Blazers met with him this week during the NBA combine — sort of.
“It was kind of funny because Portland actually just sent out their team psychologist, and no one else from the staff was there,” said Collins, per Jason Quick of CSN NW. “The lady gave me a computer and I took a personality test, kind of, and she just analyzed who I was as a person, and that was it.”
Collins is projected to be a late lottery pick, but he could still conceivably be on the board when the Blazers make their first-round selection at No. 15. In any case though, this is just the latest wacky happening in a combine that was, by all accounts, chock full of them.
