Adrien Broner arrested for sexual battery
Adrien Broner was arrested in a mall in Atlanta on Monday, and the allegations against the former boxing champion once again involve a woman.
Law enforcement officials told TMZ that Broner was taken into custody late Monday evening and charged with misdemeanor sexual battery. A video that surfaced on social media appeared to show the 28-year-old being escorted out of a shopping mall in handcuffs.
One witness claimed Broner grabbed a women by the genitals in a Louis Vuitton store, but police did not confirm that.
Broner has been no stranger to legal trouble in recent years. He was arrested in October of 2016 after being accused of choking a waitress at a Las Vegas nightclub. He also went to jail for 10 days in April of 2016 for a parole violation, and he later settled a dispute stemming from an assault and battery allegation at a bowling alley.
