Floyd Mayweather charging fans up to $3,000 to meet him in the UK

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has officially retired from boxing, but he has no intention of giving his wallet a break.

Mayweather, who retired in September after beating Andre Berto to keep his undefeated record intact, is set to begin a two-week tour in the United Kingdom next month. According to the Daily Mail, the champ will be visiting eight cities in the U.K. and charging anywhere from $65 to get a glimpse of Floyd to more than $2,800 for an extended meet and greet.

“I can not forget about my great fans in the UK,” Mayweather said in a recent video he posted. “The UK, the undisputed kings. See you soon.”

Photographs with Mayweather at most of the locations will cost around $285 in addition to the price of the ticket.

As we know, money is everything to Mayweather. It’s basically his entire image, and he’s not going to let it fade away now that his fighting career is over. Heck, Floyd even went full Mike Tyson with a new pet he bought last month. His brand clearly remains a priority.
