Did Floyd Mayweather rile up Earl Hayes before murder-suicide?

Floyd Mayweather Earl Hayes

Police want to question Floyd Mayweather Jr. over his role in the alleged murder-suicide between rapper Earl Hayes and his wife, Stephanie Moseley.

Hayes shot and killed Moseley while the woman was taking a bath Monday morning. He then turned the gun on himself, police believe.

Mayweather, who is friends with Hayes, reportedly was talking with the rapper via FaceTime before the 34-year-old killed his wife. TMZ reports that Mayweather may have had a role in the fatal incident because he was urging Hayes to break up with Moseley.

TMZ says Mayweather was telling Hayes to leave Moseley because she was repeatedly cheating on him. Mayweather supposedly even “challenged Hayes, saying he was weak for not leaving her.”

Perhaps the words from Mayweather were too much for Hayes, who grew upset and went to the bathroom to kill his wife. Mayweather reportedly was trying to tell him not to do it and was said to be in shock over what he witnessed.
