Floyd Mayweather proposed to Shantel Jackson in business-like text message

Floyd Mayweather Shantel Jackson

Floyd Mayweather Jr. once proposed to his ex-girlfriend Shantel Jackson in a text message that told her she needs to change her attitude, according to court documents.

The court papers, which were obtained by TMZ, included the text in which Mayweather tried to convince Jackson to get engaged to him for a second time. Floyd really knows how to sweep a woman off her feet.

“This is what I offer to you. Let’s get married move in together you can go back in forth to L.A and stay at the condo,” the champ allegedly wrote.

“I promise I will get you in 3 A list movies this year and I’m willing to go to counseling to make us work and you can get the stuff you want and I’m willing to change but I need you to have a better attitude.”

Of course, Jackson rejected the proposal — if you even want to call that a proposal. She also provided the court with several more text messages from Mayweather in which he tells her he hired a detective to follow her around and threatens to blackmail her.

Jackson claims Mayweather threatened to post “naked photos” of her on social media last year if she did not remove an Instagram photo of her and Nelly together. If you remember, Floyd posted a message on social media indicating he broke up with Jackson because she got an abortion. In all likelihood, Mayweather did that because he was jealous of Jackson’s relationship with Nelly, which is said to be still ongoing.

Jackson filed the lawsuit against Mayweather last September accusing him of multiple assaults and threats. She later covered up a tattoo she had gotten to represent her relationship with Floyd.

You won’t find a more toxic relationship than the one between Mayweather and Jackson.
