Manny Pacquiao says he’ll continue to go to The Grove

Manny Pacquiao shoulder injury

Manny Pacquiao was recently banned from an upscale shopping in Los Angeles, but that isn’t going to stop the boxing star from showing up.

Pacquiao told TMZ this week that The Grove is a public place where everyone is welcome.

“It’s a public place,” Pacquiao said. “It’s available for everybody.”

When asked if he will still go to The Grove with his entourage to see movies and walk around, Pacquiao said “of course.”

The problem that could arise for Pacquiao is that The Grove is not a public place. It is owned by real estate mogul Rick Caruso, and he recently said Pacquiao is not welcome on his property because of the “statements of hatred” the boxer made against gay people.

This all stems from an interview in January when Pacquiao said same-sex marriage makes humans worse than animals. He was also banned from The Grove several years ago because of similar remarks, but that ban was eventually lifted.
