Manny Pacquiao responds to Floyd Mayweather diss

pacquiao-mayweather

Manny Pacquiao wasn’t about to sit back quietly and let Floyd Mayweather Jr. embarrass him publicly with all sorts of jabs via social media. Instead, the Filipino fighter decided to hit back.

A day after Mayweather posted a video on Instagram of Pac-Man getting knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny sent this tweet in response:

What’s that, Floyd? It’s not so fun being mocked, is it?

Pac-Man (or whoever was tweeting from his account) makes a perfectly legitimate point. Floyd has been avoiding Manny and we all know it. There is nothing in life Floyd values more than his perfect record, so he will do anything to protect it. That is why he makes every excuse possible not to fight Pacquiao and instead makes fun of him. That is a true sign he is afraid of the Filipino boxer.

Pacquiao wants the fight and is serious about facing Floyd. Even Pac-Man’s trainer Freddie Roach says Manny will face Floyd at any weight to make it happen:

So what’s Floyd’s excuse now? If Pacquiao is so pathetic because he got knocked out by Marquez, why won’t you fight him, Floyd? You have no good reason other than you’re scared.

You also have to appreciate the “KhanJob” hashtag, which is a nice play on words referring to how Mayweather ducked out of a fight with Amir Khan.
