Manny Pacquiao to Floyd Mayweather: ‘Don’t be a boxing humbug’
It feels like we are closer than ever to actually seeing one of the most highly-anticipated fights in boxing history, with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao both leading the public to believe that they are serious about stepping inside the ring together.
Mayweather said last week that he wants Pacquiao to be his next opponent. Pacquiao said he is all for a fight taking place in May, but warned that Floyd probably won’t engage him in an exciting match because Mayweather wants to protect his undefeated record.
And on Tuesday, Pacquiao tweeted at Mayweather to put some more pressure on him.
.@FloydMayweather, don't be a boxing humbug. Let's give the fans the fight they want. They have waited long enough.

Until an actual contract is signed, this is the game both Floyd and Pacquiao will continue to play. We’ve already seen them lob countless grenades at one another on social media, and it will only get worse from here.
In the (likely?) event that the fight doesn’t happen, both Pacquiao and Mayweather want to make it seem like the other guy screwed the deal up.
