Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy are having success in their respective TV careers, but it sounds like their personal relationship is not going too well. The YBF reported on Wednesday that the two are currently broken up over cheating accusations.
Here’s their report:
We’re told that the two broke up over the weekend when Michael traveled back home L.A., where Nicole still lives, as Michael lives in New York during the week in order to tape “Live! With Kelly & Michael.”
Our source tells us Michael discovered inappropriate text messages in Nicole’s phone between her and someone named “London Taylor,” and Michael was anything but pleased.
A screaming match allegedly went down with accusations of cheating being thrown around. Another source close to the couple tells us that Nicole believes Michael could have jumped to these conclusions simply because he possibly could be doing the same thing in New York when Nicole is not there.
Strahan reportedly left LA for New York this week and told Nicole he needed a break.
When informed about the report, both denied it over Twitter:
A report came out two weeks ago saying that Serena Williams was dating her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, after photos were published showing the two awfully cozy on the street. Even though Williams and Mouratoglou were photographed with arms around one another, and Serena had her hand down Patrick’s back pocket, the tennis star is trying to tell us that they’re not dating.
More pictures of the two together have been published, including ones of them out shopping and Mouratoglou holding Serena’s purse. But if you think they’re dating, you’ve got the wrong idea, says Serena. Check out this tweet she sent on Sunday:
Dear camera man in Milan please stop following my around! Your pictures will have people assuming false things!!!! Ugh #OverIt
— Serena Williams (@serenawilliams) September 23, 2012
You got that? It’s the photographers’ fault that we’re all thinking they’re dating. I mean who would honestly get that idea after seeing Serena put her hand on her coach’s behind? Shame on us for making that improbable leap.
Here at LBS, we tend to be curious by nature. When it came to our attention that Angela Rypien had been bragging about attending her first ever Nationals game, and later watching another on TV with her eye on someone specific, we had to find out if it was a coincidence that Gio Gonzalez happened to be the starting pitcher in both of those games. The Baltimore Charm quarterback and daughter of former Redskins quarterback Mark Rypien seemed to confirm to us that was the case.
On Wednesday, Gonzalez gave Sarah Kogod of D.C. Sports Bog a firm denial.
Washington D.C. may have a pretty exciting sports couple on its hands. It looks like Angela Rypien and Nationals pitcher Gio Gonzalez might be dating.
Angela, a quarterback for the Lingerie Football League’s Baltimore Charm and the daughter of former Super Bowl MVP Mark Rypien, dropped the first hint about a possible relationship when she tweeted on Aug. 31 that she was attending her first Nationals game ever.
While some people are denying relationships with NFL players, others are coming clean.
Actress Eva Longoria admitted during an interview with her pal Mario Lopez on “Extra” that she is dating Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.
Longoria called Lopez an “a–hole” for putting her on the spot by showing the New York Post cover detailing the story that the two were dating. Instead of denying matters, Longoria admitted the truth.
“Mark and I are, you know, fine,” she said. “We’re happy just dating.”
Sounds to me like it’s an open relationship — which should be perfect for each of them.
So there you have it, Jets fans. If Sanchez rips it up this season (unlikely), you can call Longoria the savior. If he stinks (as we’re expecting), you can call her the Jets’ version of Jessica Simpson.
Below is Longoria’s interview with Lopez, in case you’re inclined to watch:
On Thursday, a gossip website reported that Lolo Jones and Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh are dating and that Lolo was a special guest at Detroit’s season opener against St. Louis. Jones put the rumor to rest during an interview with ESPN Playbook later in the day, and she showcased some of her trademark witty sarcasm in the process.
“We are not currently dating,” Jones said. “However, if the Lions win the Super Bowl and he wants to use the ring to propose to me, then we’ll see.”
That sounds like a typical Lolo answer, as we know she loves to joke around and has even gotten herself into a little bit of trouble with her sense of humor before. From the sound of it, the Olympic hurdler’s virginity is still in tact and she is still in search of the man of her dreams.
Lolo and Suh share the same agent and share some of the same responsibilities, but she insists the two of them are just friends. Similar rumors popped up back in April and Jones denied them at that time as well, so she is either adamant about keeping the relationship a secret, or a big deal is being made out of nothing.
After her disappointing loss in the first round of the French Open back in April (during which she was an emotional wreck), Serena Williams began working with a new coach in France. In the process, she may also have found herself a new boyfriend.
Serena and Patrick Mouratoglou were recently spotted in France together looking like far more than just a teacher and his pupil. As you can see from these photos that were posted on the French website PK Tennis, Williams and Mouratoglou were walking down the streets of Paris with their arms around each other. At one point, Serena even had her hand in Mouratoglou’s back pocket. Saucy!
“She said, ‘I want to win Wimbledon, I want to start now,'” he explained. “That’s simple. That’s how it started.”
The interesting thing here is that all we ever hear from Serena is how she doesn’t do relationships. Since the beginning of the year, she has talked about how she hasn’t been on a date in forever, how she is totally done dating and how she plays better when she’s single. Maybe dating someone who helps you with tennis eliminates all those concerns?
