Mississippi State fan surprises father with trip to College World Series
Mississippi State has advanced to the 2018 Men’s College World Series with a win over Vanderbilt, and a couple of Bulldogs fans are taking the trip of a lifetime to watch their team play.
On Wednesday, a Mississippi State fan shared an awesome video on Twitter of him surprising his dad with College World Series tickets for Father’s Day. The fan, who made a 12-hour drive from Florida to deliver the good news, says his father has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
Surprised my dad today to tell him I’m taking him to Omaha to watch @HailStateBB play. His Alzheimer’s is setting in fast but I know he’s going to have a blast this weekend. Hail State!!! pic.twitter.com/NTtAxcxxIj

Thanks everyone. I live 12 hours away in Florida now so it took him completely by surprise when I showed up. We can’t wait to get up there. Hate we’ll only be there for opening weekend but it’s going to be a great final trip for us.

If that doesn’t hit you right in the feels, you should probably have your pulse checked. We have seen similar ticket surprises in the past, and they never get old.
