Missouri OF Cade Bormet stretchered off field after crashing into brick wall
Missouri Tigers outfielder Cade Bormet was taken off the field on a stretcher after colliding with a brick wall during Thursday’s game against Georgia.
Bormet was trying to make the play on a ball hit into right field in the top of the fourth inning when he slid into the wall. Bormet immediately received medical attention and had to be taken off the field in a stretcher.

The Tigers freshman outfielder gave a thumbs up as he was on the stretcher. He was taken to a hospital and was said to be responsive.

Cade Bormet has been taken to the hospital for precautionary purposes and is responsive, per a team spokesperson. Said he knew his name and was able to move his extremities. Unlikely to have an official diagnosis until tomorrow

Bormet, who is batting .261 on the season, was 0-for-2 before exiting the game.
