Clayton Custer wants to prove Sister Jean wrong over Sweet 16 pick
Sister Jean will have a lot of questions to answer in the Loyola Chicago locker room.
Sister Jean is the 98-year-old team chaplain for Loyola Chicago who has accompanied the team to the NCAA Tournament. She showed a lot of faith in her Ramblers by picking them to reach the Sweet 16 of the tourney. However, she had them exiting after that.
When told about the lack of faith from Sister Jean, Clayton Custer, who made the winning basket to beat Tennessee, said they would have to prove Sister Jean wrong.
“We’re gonna have to prove Sister Jean wrong on this one. Sister Jean has us going out in this round? We’re going to have to prove her wrong, for sure,” Custer told TNT in a postgame interview.
"To get that bounce on that shot, it makes all those hours in the gym worth it."

If the Ramblers keep it rolling, Sister Jean would only be too happy to have her brackets busted.
