Jack Montague watching Yale from stands during tourney
Jack Montague, a former captain of the Yale basketball team who was expelled from school due to alleged sexual misconduct, attended the team’s NCAA tournament first-round game on Thursday against Baylor.
Yale’s student newspaper the Yale Daily News shared the report on Twitter:
Former Yale men's basketball captain Jack Montague is in the stands supporting the team at its first NCAA Tournament game in Providence.

Montague, who was expelled for sexual misconduct, is seated two seats down from Master of Ezra Stiles Stephen Pitti, a team faculty liaison.

Montague apparently wanted to support his teammates, who helped Yale make its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1962.

Montague is planning to sue Yale over his expulsion.
He says he had a consensual sexual relationship with a fellow student during October, 2014, and that they slept together four times. She says the fourth time they slept together was not consensual, while he believes it was.
