Pacific beats Cal Poly on last-second putback (Video)

Pacific Cal PolyThe NCAA Tournament hasn’t begun yet, but it’s already March Madness for some teams.

Pacific topped Cal Poly 55-53 Friday night in Anaheim, Calif., on a last-second putback by Travis Fulton. Cal Poly had a 53-51 lead but allowed the Tigers to tie the game on a layup with 50 seconds left. The Mustangs missed their next shot, and Pacific held the ball for the final possession. Senior Lorenzo McCloud attempted missed a fadeaway jumper with three seconds left, but Fulton was there for the putback to win the game.

Pacific advanced to the finals of the Big West tournament with the win and faces UC Irvine with an NCAA Tournament bid at stake Saturday evening.
