Rodney Hood goes for dunk, no foul is called (Video)

One of the best games of the college basketball season had a controversial finish after — if you can believe this — Duke did not get the benefit of a questionable call.

Syracuse beat Duke 91-89 on Saturday at the Carrier Dome to remain undefeated on the season. One of the controversial moments came with under 15 seconds left in overtime when Rodney Hood tried to give his team the lead by going for a huge dunk. Duke was down 88-87 when Hood went for a big dunk, but he was met by Rakeem Christmas, who got credit for the block despite making contact with Hood on the arm:

Rodney Hood dunk

Syracuse got the ball after the missed dunk and Tyler Ennis was fouled in the open court. He made both free throws to put Syracuse up 90-87. They ended up winning 91-89, thanks largely to that bad call.
