Kansas beat Oklahoma State Thursday in their first game of the Big 12 tournament, but they needed overtime to do it. That’s because Tarik Black barely missed having his game-winning putback at the buzzer count.
With the game tied at 67 and time running down, Kansas called a timeout to set up a play. Andrew Wiggins wound up heaving a deep 3-pointer with under four seconds left. He missed the shot, but Black got the rebound and went for the putback. Unfortunately time expired just before he got the shot off, but the Jayhawks still won 77-70 in overtime.
