Report: Alabama a possibility for 5-star recruit released by Washington
Chris Petersen announced on Monday that 5-star recruit Ale Kaho has been granted his release by the Washington Huskies, and it sounds like there may be another top program already in the mix for the linebacker.
The Seattle Times’ Adam Jude reported on Twitter that Alabama is expected to “reenter the picture for Kaho.”
Multiple sources close to Kaho's recruitment have told The Seattle Times that they expect Alabama to reenter the picture for Kaho — if it hasn't already. https://t.co/kWBP2NZVTh

Kaho was originally committed to BYU before flipping to Washington, so the next school he chooses would be the third to which he has pledged a commitment.
The linebacker, who is from Reno, Nevada, is going through a rough time in his personal life. Two family members died in July and his parents are going through a divorce, all of which have reportedly taken a toll on his health and well-being.
247 Sports ranks Kaho as the No. 1 player in the state of Nevada from the 2018 class.
