Baker Mayfield reportedly will not attend NFL Draft
Baker Mayfield is expected to be a first-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft — potentially even the No. 1 pick — but he won’t be in attendance for the spectacle.
Mayfield told NBC’s Newy Scruggs that he won’t be attending the draft, which will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington this year:

While many of the top prospects tend to attend the draft and have their moment shaking the commissioner’s hand when their name is called, some choose to spend their day differently. It looks like the Heisman Trophy will be doing that.
Mayfield is competing with Josh Allen, Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold to be the first quarterback off the board.
