Baker Mayfield plans to return to Oklahoma for senior season
Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield will be back in 2017 for one final run at a championship.
The junior quarterback announced Saturday after the team’s win over Oklahoma State that he intended to return to school for his final year of eligibility.

Mayfield is referring to his complex transfer from Texas Tech, whose fans still hate him. The Oklahoma quarterback wasn’t a top tier draft prospect, so this doesn’t come as a huge surprise. Still, it’s wonderful news for Oklahoma, given how successful they’ve been under Mayfield.
