Rhule, 42, has mostly been a college coach save for one season in the NFL in 2012 as an offensive line coach for the Giants. He was an assistant at Temple from 2006-2011, then became the program’s head coach from 2013-2016. He led the team to consecutive 10-win seasons over his final two years before taking the Baylor job. After an exodus of talent and recruits due to the sexual assault scandal, Baylor went 1-11 last season — Rhule’s first on the job.
