Bill Snyder expects to continue coaching for ‘quite some time’
78-year-old Kansas State coach Bill Snyder doesn’t intend to slow down anytime soon.
After beating throat cancer, Snyder is back to work and entering his 27th season. After considering stepping away last season, Snyder appears revitalized — so much so that he’s not even putting a timeline on his career anymore.
“I could go on for quite some time if I don’t get fired and keep having an impact on the players in my program and my family is comfortable with it,” Snyder said, via Kellis Robinett of the Wichita Eagle. “I don’t see any particular end in sight.”
Snyder’s words now are a far cry from where he was last December. He’s clearly feeling good and is ready to get to work while shutting down concerns recruits may have about his coaching future.
